A child is not a thing to be moulded; but a person to be unfolded. The child gets inspired and motivated by the persons whom he/she meets with. Parents, teachers, peers, neighbours and relatives influence them a lot, be it positively or negatively. The responses a child receives in turn for his/her behaviour play a significant role in shaping the character.
Encouraging words, appreciating smile, gesture of approval, compliments, applause; all these keep the child get progressing. Whereas humilating, insulting, punishing, snubbling etc make the child feel very low and the progress comes to a halt.
Hence the child should be made to realize that his/her act of behaviour is only condemned and not the child himself/herself. So everytime a child slips or misbehaves, let us ensure to correct the child positively and constructively.
